The Orion String Quartet will perform a chamber concert Sunday, April, 13, at the Seabury Center, 45 Church Lane. The 3 p.m. performance is presented by the Westport Arts Center.

The quartet, a resident quartet at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, took its name from the Orion Constellation to represent the unique talents of each member of the group.

Daniel Phillips, violin, has performed as a soloist with symphonies across the country and serves on the summer faculties of many organizations, including the Colorado College Music Festival.

His brother, Todd Phillips, has also performed as a soloist and conducted across the country and in Europe and Japan.

Violist Steven Tenenbom has worked with notable musicians such as Lukas Foss and Chick Corea, and is currently a member of musical groups Tashi and Opus One.

The quartet's cellist, Timothy Eddy, has won numerous national and international awards and is currently a professor of cello at the Juilliard School.

Tickets to the concert are $65 for adults, $10 for students with a valid I.D., and are available in advance at 203-222-7070 and www.westportartscenter.org, or at the door 30 minutes before the performance. A limited number of $25 tickets will be available at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Ave.
