Weston High School's student production of the musical "Kiss Me Kate" opens a five-performance run on Friday, March 15, at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium.
Performances also are planned Saturday, March 16, at 8 p.m.; Sunday, March 17, at 3 p.m.; Friday, March 22, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m.
Featuring music and lyrics by Cole Porter, "Kiss Me Kate" is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's comedy "The Taming of the Shrew." On Broadway, it won a Tony Ward for Best Musical in 1949.
