The Westport Arts Center will host a "WACky Family Day" program involving food-inspired art projects from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at the center, 51 Riversude Ave.

The program, in its fourth year, is an opportunity for families to make art in a creative community environment with the center's gallery set up with a series of art workshop stations and local mixed-media teaching artists leading interactive art workshops.

Art projects will be centered around a food theme inspired by the center's current exhibit, "Foodies," an exhibition featuring a range of works inspired by food.

The event will also include a play area sponsored by the Melissa and Doug toy company.

Admission is $10 per child, free for adults and children 2 years old and younger. Advance registration is encouraged and may be done by calling 203-222-7070 or by buying tickets at www.westportartscenter.org. Ticket sales at the door will be on a first-come first-served basis.

For information and tickets, contact the center at 203-222-7070 or visit www.westportartscenter.org.
