Vince, a national clothing retailer, will open a store on Westport's Main Street at the end of March.
The company, with 19 locations nationwide, plans to open its second women's-only shop on Thursday, March 28, at 115 Main St., according to a news release. The firm, based in Los Angeles and New York, would not disclose the length of its lease for the property.
The store, with about five employees, will be Vince's first store in Connecticut.
The 2,180-square-foot shop will open with its spring collection, which will include the hi-lo leather tee, leather jogger pants, tropical wool blazer, leather sleeve rustic linen jacket and the patterned silk half-placket tunic. Its inventory will also feature Vince's newly-introduced shoe collection, which includes vintage-inspired styles such as the Celeste, a buttery suede Italian-made pump with a stiletto heel, and vachetta leather sandals.
Vince, founded in 2002, nationally offers a range of women's and men's ready-to-wear clothing, including cashmere sweaters, leather jackets, leggings, dresses, silk and woven tops, denim and shoes. Its products are carried in more than 2,000 stores across 50 nations and its e-commerce site, Vince.com.
The Westport store's hours will be noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
