Two young men have been charged with shoplifting at the Jack Wills store on Main Street.
Andre Fowler, 21, of Norwalk, and Daniel Gatson, 18, of Ridgefield, N.J., were taken into custody Jan. 21 after police say that clerks alerted them the pair entered the clothing store carrying several empty bags and began acting suspiciously.
After the men left the store, they were detained by officers and gave permission for their bags to be searched. Police said they found merchandise, still bearing Jack Wills’ tags, that had been stolen from the store, valued at $338.

Bond for each was set at $2,500. Gatson was set to appear on the charges the next day at state Superior Court in Norwalk, while Fowler was scheduled to have appeared Jan. 28.
