Tooker elected to finance board helm as Pincavage exits post

Tooker, who was elected to her first term to the finance panel, previously was a member of the Board of Education. Her election as chairman was unanimous.
Pincavage plans to continue serving on the board; he was elected in 2011. He nominated Tooker to be his successor, which was seconded by Republican Michael Rea.
Tooker is a retired senior manager of Gen Re, among the world’s largest reinsurance companies. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
A Westport resident since 2008, Tooker and her husband Morris are the parents of three children. In community affairs, she is a member of the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club, is a member of the Westport Weston Family YMCA’s Board of Trustees and is a soccer coach for local recreation soccer teams.
