Memorial Day -- Town Hall, public schools Wesport Public Library closed

Memorial Day parade: 9 a.m. Annual street parade in tribute to the national's fallen military -- steps off at Saugatuck Elementary School, north on Riverside Avenue to the Post Road, east over the Post Road bridge, turns left onto Myrtle Avenue and passes a review stand in front of Town Hall. The parade will turn left on Main Street and end in Parker-Harding Plaza. On Veterans Green after the march, speakers and musical interludes are planned.

Gault and Sugarman exhibits: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place. "Five Generations of Yankee Ingenuity: The Gault Family" and "Tracy Sugarman, Citizen-Artist," concurrent exhibits on well-known Westporters, through Sept. 2. http://bit.ly/13OdkJT
