Did you know Walt Disney has won more Academy Awards than anyone else? That the first U.S. service academy to admit women was the Coast Guard? That there are eight bits in a byte?

Whether or not you knew any of those questions, here's one thing you can be sure of:

Tickets have gone on sale for Trivia Time at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, a friendly competition scheduled for Sunday, April 28, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The contest will be hosted by Dan Woog, a Westport News columnist, author of his own 06880 blog, Staples High School varsity soccer coach and a master of trivia about Westport and far beyond.

Participants for Trivia Time will be grouped into teams, and Woog has suggested teams comprising people of several generations might have better chances to win prizes.

Participants can bring their own teams or arrive alone and join one.

Reservations are required. Tickets are $5 for 18 and older, free for under 18.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities and AT&T.

For more information, call the center at 203-341-5099.
