Three NY woman charged with larceny at Home Goods

Three women face larceny charges stemming from an incident Sunday at the Home Goods store on Post Road East.
Denise Blackwood, 43, and Tamika Davis, 25, both of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Sashain Styles, 32, of Bronx, N.Y., were each charged with fifth-degree larceny; conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device.
Blackwood was also charged with interfering with police.
Officers were dispatched to the store around 7:19 p.m. Sunday to investigate a report that a possible larceny was in progress, according to a police report.
Officers responding to the scene saw a person run from the store, with an employee in pursuit.
"The running suspect was apprehended by an officer and her accomplices were taken into custody inside the store," the report said. "Stolen merchandise was recovered from one of the females in the store along with devices used to facilitate the crime of shoplifting," according to the report.
Bond for Styles was set at $5,000; bond for Blackwood also was $5,000, and for Davis bond was $2,500.
All three are scheduled to appear March 18 at Superior Court in Norwalk.
