If you absolutely, positively, have to go out shopping Saturday, you can do it kid-free, thanks to Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane. They get to participate in nature-themed programs at the center while you brave the stores. The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m .and 1 to 4 p.m. The cost for members is $36 for a three-hour block of activities, and $45 for non-members. Open for children age 3 and up. The Westport Community Theatre showcases the less-reverent side of the holidays with "Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge" this weekend at Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue. Take a tour of some distinctive Westport homes decked out as holiday showplaces on the annual Holiday House Tour sponsored by the Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place, on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members if purchased in advance. A related event, "Eat, Drink and Be MAR-ry" party, designer Mar Jennings, will be held at the Terrain store, 561 Post Road East, from 6 to 9 p.m. Party tickets are $75.
