Things to do in Westport this weekend

A little shopping, a little music and a little family fun thrown in for good measure make for an enjoyable Westport weekend. Here's a few tideas:
The ever-popular CraftWestport show and sale returns to Staples High School, 70 North Ave., this weekend. Sponsored by the Westport Young Women's League, the event features 170 craft artists including new exhibitors with contemporary works never before seen in Westport. In addition, there is a specialty food section as well as a raffle of artist-donated items. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Join the fun at the Family Festivities kick-off Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court.
