Between getting the house ready for that spirited season of spookiness later this month, take in a play -- there's a choice of two this weekend -- or catch a live musical performance this Westport weekend. Here's a few suggestions to help keep you busy:
Friday night take in a performance of William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night, or What You Will" at 8 p.m. at the Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court. Tickets are $35-$55. Call 203-227-4177 or visit www.westportplayhouse.org.
Love it or hate it? You decide at the "Love: In the Eye of the Beholder" exhibit at the Westport Arts Center, 51 Riverside Ave. Hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 203-222-7070 for more information.
Spend a "Night in Nineveh" Saturday afternoon when Beit Chaverim Synagogue, 85 Post Road West, presents the free Yom Kippur play at 2 p.m. For information call 203-227-3333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once picked that perfect pumpkin on Sunday afternoon head to the Westport Public Library, 20 Jesup Road, for a free concert performed at 2 p.m. by the City Winds Trio in the McManus Room. More information is available at www.westportlibrary.org or by calling 203-291-4800.
