The Temenos Institute, 29 E. Main St., will host a lecture on "Existentialism, Art and Psychotherapy," by Pamela Lape, at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22.

In her talk, Lape, a therapist and a professional artist, will focus on how existential thought has affected the worlds of psychotherapy and art, according to a news release. She also will share images of paintings, including her own, to foster discussion on using artistic expression to gain insight into the meaning of existence.
