WESTPORT — A Stratford man was allegedly caught with heroin and drug paraphernalia on Sept. 9.

Police said an officer pulled Ronald Baldino over on Post Road around 9:30 a.m. for driving erratically and running red lights. After finding needles and spoons in the car, police searched Baldino and allegedly found about a gram of heroin.

The 29-year-old resident of Short Beach Road in Stratford was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $1,000 ahead of a Sept. 19 court date.
