MILTON, Mass. (AP) — State police say two people died and a 17-year-old boy rescued by a nearby resident was taken to the hospital after a fiery early morning car crash in Milton.
Troopers responded to the single-vehicle crash on Brush Hill Road at about 3:30 a.m. Friday.
Police say the Mercedes Benz went off the road and struck a tree before catching fire.
Two occupants — a 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both from Boston — were pronounced dead at the scene. The teenager was pulled from the rear seat by the neighbor, who then tried to get to the two adults but was beaten back by the fire.
No names were immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
