St. Luke Church will present its annual concert, "Seeking the King," featuring the church's choirs, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at the church, 49 Turkey Hill Road N.
The adult choir, under the direction of Dan Coffman, will perform a program of traditional and contemporary Christmas carols. The soloists will include sopranos Sally Berry, Linda Collins and Stella Hartel; alto JoAnna Rogers; tenor John Tschirhart; and basses Thomas Kramer, Brian Lohotsky, Louis Pietig and Ronald Wayne. They will be accompanied by Leon Bernard, minister of music and organist, on trumpet and tympani, according to a release.
The children's choir, directed by Marguerite Hastings, assistant organist, will perform festive selections.
In addition to the musical presentations, there will be an opportunity for the audience to participate in a sing-along of traditional carols. The concert will conclude with a nativity scene tableau featuring children in the religious formation program.
A reception will follow in the community room.
There will be no admission fee; however, a goodwill offering would be appreciated.
