Three veteran singer-songwriters are teaming up on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Voices Cafe.

The touring show, with Craig Bickhardt, Michael Johnson and Don Henry, will begin at 8 p.m. at the cafe in the Unitarian Church, 10 Lyons Plains Road.

Bickhardt is the uniting force behind this critically acclaimed In-The-Round series appearing at venues throughout the country. He is one of the original "Writers in the Round" from Nashville's fabled Bluebird Cafe where Henry and Johnson have also been regulars. On Nov. 9, they'll swap songs, humor and battle stories.

Bickhardt's songs have become platinum and Grammy-winning recordings by artists including Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles and B.B. King. He's written nine top ten hits including "Turn It Loose" and "I Know Where I'm Going" recorded by The Judds, and "In Between Dances." His 2011 headline appearance at Pennsylvania's Sellersville Theater resulted in his CD, "Live at Sellersville Theater."

Johnson's hits include "Bluer Than Blue," "Give Me Wings," "That's That," and "This Night Won't Last Forever." He is also a classically trained guitarist.

Henry's songs have been recorded by many artists including Ray Charles, Patti Page, Conway Twitty, Gene Watson, B.J. Thomas and Blake Shelton. His Grammy Award winning country classic "Where've You Been," also won Song of the Year honors from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association and the Nashville Songwriters Association International.

Tickets for the show are $20 and can be purchased at www.voicescafe.org; by calling 203-227-7205 x 14; or by emailing david@uuwestport.org.
