A Rowayton woman was arrested after allegedly shoplifting from the Antropologie clothing store on Friday, police said.
The Post Road East store called police at 12:30 p.m. when Priscilla McAughan set off the door security alarm while attempting to leave the store. Police searched McAughan's car and found several other allegedly stolen items. She was charged with possession of a shoplifting device and fifth-degree larceny.
Released on a $500 bond, McAughan is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court Oct. 4.
