The Westport Center for Senior Activities will host its annual lobster clambake on Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Evan Harding Park in Longshore Club and Park.

The event is planned from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to seniors age 60 and over and their families and friends, center officials said.

The rain date is Thursday, Aug. 15, during the same hours.

Entree choices include lobster, swordfish, steak or chicken. All meals include steamers, shrimp, corn-on-the-cob, potato, coleslaw, dinner roll, watermelon and a beverage.

The Staples High School jazz ensemble "Chops" will perform.

The cost is $34 per person. Reservations and payment are required by Thursday, Aug. 1, the center said, and entree choices must be specified with reservations.

Alcoholic beverages will be prohibited at the event, according to the center.

For further information or reservations, visit the center at 21 Imperial Ave. or call it at 203-341-5099.
