The Westport Center for Senior Activities has announced the following activities:

Monday, April 28: An AARP safe driving course will be offered from noon to 4 p.m. Those who successfully complete the course receive certificates that may qualify them for reduced auto insurance rates. The course explains trends and offers tips pertinent to older drivers, senior center officials said. The cost is $15 for AARP members, $20 for nonmembers, center officials said. Checks should be payable to AARP.

Wednesday, April 30: "Social Networking for the Business Person or Volunteer" will be taught by Alan Weaver, a community college technology instructor. The hands-on course will cover how to communicate via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Participants should be equipped with their email addresses and passwords, center officials said. The cost is $30 and registration is required.

Thursday, May 3: The film "Saving Mr. Banks" will be shown at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, preceded by a light supper. Sandwich wraps, chips and beverages will be served at 4:45 p.m., followed the screening at 5:30.

The biographical drama stars Tom Hanks as Walt Disney, who promises his daughters that he'll make a film version of their favorite story, P.L. Travers' "Mary Poppins."

Cost is $6, and registration is required.

To register for any program, call the senior center 203-341-5099 or visit it at 21 Imperial Ave.
