The Westport Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Ave., has announced the following activities:
Thursday, May 29: Physical therapist Abigail Co will give the presentation "Stroke and What it Means to You" from 1 to 2 p.m. She will discuss different types of stroke, how they manifest themselves, risk factors and preventive measures, center officials said.
Friday, May 30: A four-hour AARP Safe Driver course will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The course will cover trends and safety tips pertinent to older drivers and successful completion may qualify some drivers for discounted insurance rates, according to the center. The cost is $12 for AARP members, $14 nonmembers. Checks should be payable to AARP. Certificates will be awarded to those who successfully complete the course
