The Westport Center for Senior Activities has announced the following upcoming events:
Tuesday, Nov. 5: From 1 to 2 p.m., wellness expert Adam Propper will present "Improve Your Mood and Increase Your Energy, Naturally." He is a chiropractor and expert on aging and pain management.
Thursday, Nov. 7: A presentation on memory loss is planned from 10 to 11 a.m. Dawn Pelazza, a registered nurse and certified dementia educator, will discuss the differences between normal changes in memory and the kinds associated with Alzheimer's disease. She also will talk about the challenges of living with someone with memory loss and where to find help.
Thursday, Nov. 7: The feature film "Identity Thief" will be shown at 3:15 p.m., followed by a supper of sandwich wraps, chips and beverages at 5 p.m. The 2013 comedy stars Jason Bateman as a businessman whose identity is stolen by a woman (Melissa McCarthy), and his credit cards soon max out, so he sets out to capture the thief. Cost is $6.
