A trio of Westport residents running in last month's Philadelphia Marathon and their honorary captain have raised nearly $20,000 to help provide treatment for uninsured women with breast cancer, the group said.

Kenneth Olson, Karin Sawyer and Richard Nadel ran the 26.2-mile race on Nov. 17. With fundraising support from team captain Pamela Olson, they raised $19,500 for Pink Aid, the Westport-based organization that funds a variety of assistance groups, the group said in a release.

According to its website, Pink Aid helps to fund some essential non-medical support.
