Push-ups fundraiser set at Main Street gym

Aspire Fitness will host a Pushups for Charity fundraiser on Saturday morning, May 25, to benefit the Boots Campaign, which provides support services to military personnel.

The fundraiser is at 10 a.m. at the strength and conditioning gym's facilities on the third floor at 44 Main St.

Participants will solicit pledges for each push-up they can perform in 90 seconds. Admittance to Aspire Fitness for the fundraiser is free.

The Boot Campaign is a registered nonprofit that provides active military personnel support services to help recover from physical and emotional combat wounds, according to its website. It provides housing and family support, urgent assistance and wellness programs.
