A pregnant Bridgeport woman was arrested by Westport police Wednesday for sexually touching a 15-year-old boy last year.

Teischa Pileggi, 38, of Noble Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault.

Pileggi and the youth were both patients at the Hall-Brooke Hospital on Long Lots Road in Westport when the alleged assault took place, police said.

At her arraignment at Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday, Judge Bruce Hudock sealed Pileggi's arrest warrant.

During the hearing, Pileggi's public defender, certified legal intern Brittany Bussolo, said the incident happened four months ago. Bussolo said since her arrest, Pileggi, who is five months pregnant, has worked hard to turn her life around.

Hudock ordered Pileggi held in lieu of $10,000 bond and have no contact with the boy.

Westport Capt. Sam Aricola said the "inappropriate sexual contact" between Pileggi and a 15-year-old boy took place at the Hall Brooke mental hospital in Westport on Oct. 20, 2010. Aricola declined to discuss the incident in further detail.

The sexual contact between Pileggi and the youth was witnessed by a hospital staff member, Aricola said.

Hospital officials reported it to police on the same day that it occurred, Aricola said.

Aricola said that the assault took place in a common area that was being watched by hospital staff.

Pileggi was scheduled to report back to court on May 5. She was transported to the Niantic Correctional Institution for women after her arraignment.
