Positive Directions -- The Center for Prevention & Recovery announced it has been awarded a $5,000 grant by the Fairfield County Community Foundation. The money will help fund help fund installation of a scheduling and claims-processing software program, Positive Directions said in a news release.

"We are genuinely appreciative of Fairfield County Community Foundation's funding support which will allow us to develop billing capabilities and serve additional clients," Marty Hauhuth, the organization's executive director, said in the release.

The nonprofit Positive Directions is a state-licensed mental health and substance-abuse-treatment center that has been providing services since 1971.
