Lydia Ruiz, 34, of Waterbury was arrested on March 1 at 8 p.m. on charges of first-degree failure to appear, second-degree failure to appear and failure to carry proof of insurance.

According to the report, Ruiz was stopped by police in the vicinity of Post Road East and Maple Avenue for not displaying a rear license plate. Ruiz was unable to provide proper paperwork for the vehicle and a check of her name revealed she was wanted in Waterbury for failing to appear in court for two unspecified incidents.

Ruiz's bail was set at $3,000 and she is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 11.

Charles Vosgeuritchian, 30, of Westport was arrested on March 11 at 6 p.m. on a charge of violation of probation.

According to the report, Vosgeuritchian turned himself in at the Westport police headquarters after being told there was a warrant for his arrest stemming from a violation of probation out of Norwich.

Vosgeuritchian's bail was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on March 11.

Michael Friedman, 56, of Westport and Todd Wang, 60, of Bridgeport were arrested on March 2 at 8:50 p.m. on charges of breach of peace.

According to the report, police were called to a dispute on Ludlow Road between Friedman and Wang. When police arrived, they were fighting in a driveway.

Friedman and Wang were released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 10.

Alexandra Marcos, 30, of Westport was arrested on March 3 at 1:12 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to renew registration and operating without a license.

According to the report, Marcos was seen driving erratically by an officer in the area of Post Road East and Sherwood Island Connector. A check of the license saw that her registration was expired. Marcos was pulled over and the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. She failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Marcos' bail was set at $500 and she is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 10.

Patrick Kennedy, 51, of Milford was arrested on March 3 at 1:33 a.m. on a charge of second-degree failure to appear.

According to the report, Kennedy was brought to Westport police headquarters by a bail enforcement agent. Kennedy was wanted in connection with a 2008 sixth-degree larceny.

Kennedy's bail was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 12.

Malcolm Fitch, 39, of Westport was arrested on March 2 at 1:23 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive right and violation of traffic commission regulations.

According to the report, Fitch was observed by police driving northbound on Saugatuck Avenue and crossing the yellow centerline several times. He also reportedly passed straight through an intersection in the left turn only lane. Fitch was pulled over and the officer detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. Fitch failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Fitch's bail was set at $500 and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 10.
