A string of vehicle break-ins last week at the Greens Farms train station is currently under investigation by Westport police, according to Lt. Vincent Penna, commander of the detective bureau.

Penna said a total of 29 break-ins occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 2, and Thursday, Nov. 4, in the train station's parking lot.

Police are continuing to put together a complete list of the items stolen and their value. Penna said the items are those typically left in a vehicle, such as laptops and smart phones, as well as cash and some jewelry.
