Police: Bridgeport man caught with cocaine

WESTPORT — A Bridgeport man was charged with drug possession after Westport Police allegedly found cocaine in his car.
Police stopped a car driven by Hector Morales near Post Road East and Bulkley Avenue in the early evening of Nov. 25 and smelled marijuana coming from the car, according to the department. Morales allegedly admitted to having a small amount of marijuana, but after a search of the car, police said they found a small amount of cocaine.
The 22-year-old resident of Anthony Street in Bridgeport was charged with possession of a controlled substance, narcotics. Morales was released on $500 bail. He has a court date of Dec. 6.
