Patt Fraser Goldsmith, 63, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, formerly of Weston, died Dec. 18, 2010, in Norwalk Hospital.

She attended Northwestern University and later received a jurist doctorate from Pace University. She worked as a family case flow coordinator at Bridgeport Superior Court.

She enjoyed cycling, kayaking, hiking and softball, and was an advocate for the founding of the Weston Women's Softball League. She also enjoyed listening to jazz, photography, travel and reading.

Survivors include her children, Gordon Goldsmith of Westport and Jeremy Goldsmith of Greenwich; a brother, Andrew Shannon, and his son, Kyle Shannon, of San Diego, Calif.; her stepmother, Shirley Ramspeck, of Sarasota, Fla.; and her former husband and friend, Keith Howard-Goldsmith of Weston.

A memorial gathering will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield.
