Patricia McEvily Major, of Weston, died March 28 at home.

Born in 1929 in the Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of Ann and Arthur McEvily. She was the widow of William G. Major.

An interior designer, she worked with her husband in his real estate development and consulting company.

Survivors include three children, Janice Battle and her husband John of Concord, Mass., Glenn Major and his wife Elise of Weston and Lauren Baber and her husband Michael of Weston; brothers Arthur McEvily of Willimantic and John McEvily of Brick, N.J.; and seven grandchildren, Meghan, Molly and Luke Battle, Allison and Patrick Baber, and Ryan and Erin Major.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 1, in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Norfield Road, Weston. Call hours are Thursday, March 31, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport.
