Ballet Etudes Company, the Norwalk ballet troupe and school, is bringing its production of "The Nutcracker" to the Westport Country Playhouse for six performances in December.

Performances of the holiday classic are scheduled at 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6; Sunday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 13, the school said.

The production marks the 15th consecutive year the school has performed the story of Clara's fanciful holiday dream at the playhouse.

Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for children 15 and under.

The show includes a cast of more than 90 dancers, the company said, most of them area students, including about 20 from Westport.

Visiting professionals who will appear in principal roles include Georgina Pazcoguin, Adrian Danchig-Waring and Charles Askegard, all of New York City Ballet, and Sterling Baca of American Ballet Theatre.
