WESTPORT — A Norwalk man allegedly ran a red light then hit a parked car downtown while driving drunk around midnight Sunday morning.

An officer saw Scott Keet drive through a red light at the Riverside Avenue and Post Road West intersection then turn into the Parker Harding Plaza lot and hit a parked car, according to police. When the officer stopped the 56-year-old’s car, Keet showed signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test, police said.

Keet, a resident of Sycamore Street in Norwalk, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with operating under the influence. His bond was set at $500 ahead of a Feb. 9 court date.
