A car narrowly avoided crashing into a Post Road East storefront Tuesday morning after leaving the roadway.

Emergency personnel were dispatched about 10:30 a.m. to the crash scene in front of Amadeus Piano Co., 240 Post Road East, where a red Toyota Prius nearly crashed into the storefront.

It appeared the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on her own.

Cause of the accident was not immediately determined.
