National Merit Scholarship finalists cited at Staples

These twelve Staples High School seniors have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. They are among about 15,000 finalists nationwide who represent less than 1 percent of the students who took the scholarship exam. Staples High School has been notified that 12 seniors have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

They are among about 15,000 finalists nationwide who represent less than 1 percent of the students who took the scholarship exam. Finalists will compete for about 8,300 National Merit Scholarships, which will be announced in April.

Among the Staples National Merit finalists are: Leo McElroy, Douglas Russ, Jason Hoving, Clayton Andrews and Tiffany Yany.

Also, Judy Feng, Michael Menz, Robert DeLuca, Jordan Shenhar, Marcus Russi, Felton Weller and Blythe Lewis.
