Morton B. Kahn, 93, of Palm Beach, Fla., died May 11.

Born in Stamford, he was the son of the late Julius and Tillie Kohn. He graduated from Stamford High School and attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and was a member of AEPHI fraternity. After graduation, he worked as a real estate developer in the tri-state area. He also was president of United Oil Co.; a founding member of the Independent Connecticut Petroleum Association; a member of the Lion's Club; a past president of the State Street Debating Society and of the All Stamford Club. He was a member of Temple Beth El in Stamford and Temple Emanuel in Palm Beach, Fla..

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Kahn, and a daughter, Carol Kahn.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Feld; a son Robert Kahn and daughter-in-law Suzanne Kahn, all of Westport, and four grandchildren, Michael Feld, Dyanna Feld, Jeffrey Kahn and Laura Kahn.

A graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, at Temple Beth El cemetery on Roxbury Road in Stamford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hadassah or American Friends of Mage David Adom. Arrangements are handled by Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, Stamford.
