Three people suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 in Westport.
The accident, about 7:30 a.m. in the center southbound lane between Exits 18 and 17, involved one SUV striking the rear of another. The crash shut down two of I-95's lanes during the morning commute, triggering significant delays.
The three occupants reported minor neck and back injuries, and were transported by ambulance to Norwalk Hospital for further evaluation.
Fluids leaking from one of the SUVs were absorbed using speedi-dri, and debris from the damaged vehicles was swept up.
Both SUVs were removed from the highway by flatbed wrecker.
