Born Oct. 27, 1922, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Antonius and Huberdina (Vissers) Stoopman, and had been a Weston resident the past 38 years. She was a member of both the Weston and Westport senior centers, and the Westport YMCA where she swam for more than 30 years. She was also an amateur oil painter, enjoyed beading, cooking and baking, and won several awards for rug hooking.
Survivors include sons Francis P. Ehrismann of Norwalk and Paul C. Ehrismann of Weston; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Harry Ehrismann and Lawrence Ehrismann.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Norfield Road, Weston. Burial will be in Willowbrook Cemetery on Main Street.
