Margaret T. Tucker, 92, of Westport, the wife of the late John Tucker, died May 8 in Norwalk Hospital.

Born July 21, 1918, in Westport, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Troy and was a lifelong town resident. After graduating from Staples High School, she attended secretarial school for two years and, upon completion, was employed as an executive secretary for Perkin Elmer for more than 30 years. Following her retirement from Perkin Elmer, she was the secretary for Saint Mary's Parish in Stamford. She also enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Frances Pohley, and a nephew, Rev. Robert G. Pohley, a former pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Stamford.

Calling hours are Wednesday, May 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Rd. East. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 10, in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
