Man in court faces array of new charges

A Bridgeport man faces numerous charges after being served an arrest warrant by Westport police while he was at Norwalk Superior Court last Wednesday.

Angel Torres, 32, of Cedar Street was charged with criminal violation of protective order, credit card theft, illegal use of credit card and sixth-degree larceny. He was also charged with risk of injury to a child.

Details on the charges were not immediately available.

He was held in lieu of non-related charges and is scheduled to appear Aug. 1 on the new charges in Norwalk Superior Court.
