Man faces drugs charges after accident

Ian Parker, 21, of Cricket Lane, was charged Tuesday after police said they found marijuana while investigating a motor vehicle accident involving Parker.

Officers, according to the report, found marijuana residue throughout the vehicle, as well as a strong odor of marijuana. Parker told officers that he had marijuana in his backpack, revealing a jar of loose marijuana and 14 glassine baggies of marijuana and paraphernalia, according to the report.

Parker was charged with sale of a hallucinogen or narcotic and drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear Nov. 30 in Norwalk Superior Court.
