A Westport man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs early Thursday after police said he failed to stop at a stop sign.
Jonathan Paszek, 27, of Roseville Road, was emanating a strong odor of alcohol, according to the report, when he was stopped about 1:15 a.m. Thursday. He was charged with DUI after he failed roadside sobriety tests, police said. He also was cited for a stop sign traffic violation.
Paszek posted $500 bond and is scheduled to appear June 30 in Norwalk Superior Court.
