A Ruta Court resident was charged with threatening after an incident in his home early Tuesday.
Matthew Carlson, 37, was charged with second-degree threatening.
Officers were dispatched about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday to investigate the report of domestic violence where the victim, Carlson’s spouse, had reportedly left the house because of a threat that had been made, according to a police report.
At the residence, officers found Carlson and, based on the threat made, arrested him.
Carlson was unable to post bond and was scheduled to appear later in the day at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
