A Bridgeport man who police said may be part of a "crew" linked to a string of burglaries in Westport, Darien and Trumbull was arrested Friday on two warrants while at Norwalk Superior Court.
Livelle Sampson, 21, was charged by Westport police with 10 counts of third-degree burglary and several larceny counts. The warrants relate to car break-ins and thefts, which took place between June 5 and June 11 on Gault Avenue, Sherwood Drive, Pumpkin Hill Road and Westfair Drive, local police said.
The other members of the burglary crew -- Quamere Brantley, Joshua Rivera and Nelson Rivera -- have been arrested in connection with numerous car burglaries in Darien, police said. Nelson and Joshua Rivera, who are brothers, have also been charged with burglarizing a home in Trumbull, police added.
Sampson was held on $150,000 bond, according to police.
