Man charged with larceny in Westport

David Skog, 28, of Fairfield, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny last Wednesday around 11:15 a.m.
During two separate incidents in June and July, Skog allegedly grabbed cartons of cigarettes at CVS on Post Road East and then fled.
He was stopped for a motor vehicle violation last Wednesday in Fairfield, where officers found two arrest warrants issued by Westport police.
After he was turned over to Westport police, his bond was set for $7,500 and he is scheduled to appear Friday in Norwalk Superior Court.
