A Westfair Drive resident was charged last Friday with failing to register with the state’s Sex Offender Registry.
David Page, 52, turned himself in to police around 3 p.m. after learning there was a warrant for his arrest.
On June 9, the Westport Police Department’s Detective Bureau was notified by the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry Unit that Page was in non-compliance with the mandated verification process for a convicted sex offender, according to police.
An investigation confirmed that Page had failed his mandated reporting, according to the report.
He was charged with failure to register: sexually violent crime, and bond was set at $2,500.
