Emil Stuck, 22, of Norwalk, was charged Friday with stealing a relative's vehicles in Westport and also burglarizing the residence.
Police, who arrested Stuck at his Norwalk home, released few details about the incident other than to say that he also was found to be in possession of narcotics at the time of the arrest.
Stuck was charged with first-degree larceny, third-degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance -- narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was unable to post the $50,000, police said, and was arraigned Monday in Norwalk Superior Court.
