A Sniffen Road man, who police said appeared to be intoxicated, was charged early Monday with creating a disturbance on a neighbor’s property while leaving his children home alone.
Ariel Aparicio-Jarro, 49, was charged with breach of peace and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Police said Aparicio-Jarro was banging on the door of a nearby Sniffen Road home, demanding to be let in, at about 1:30 a.m. Monday. On investigation, police said, they learned that Aparicio-Jarro had left his 3- and 9-year-old children home unattended.
Bond was set at $1,000 and he is scheduled to appear Sept. 10 at state Superior Court in Norwalk.
