Kurt Louney, 41, of Wilton, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.

Louney was driving north on Main Street, near Canal Street, when an officer spotted him traveling very slowly and weaving in the northbound lane. Police said he crossed the road's center line on two occasions. He was pulled over, and the officer said he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

Louney failed field sobriety tests, police said, and was taken into custody. Bond was set at $500. He is scheduled to make a July 27 appearance in Norwalk Superior Court.
