Man arrested for failing to answer larceny charge

Jeffrey Guadalupe, 29, of Bridgeport, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of first-degree failure to appear.

Guadalupe was brought to Westport police headquarters by bail-enforcement agents, police said. He was wanted for failing to appear in a court for a larceny he allegedly committed in November 2008. He allegedly was involved in a car selling scam.

Guadalupe's bail was set at $15,000 and he was scheduled to appear Tuesday in Norwalk Superior Court.
